Trump Declares Roe v. Wade Anniversary National Sanctity of Human Life Day

President Donald Trump has declared January 22—the anniversary of the Roe v Wade decision—as “National Sanctity of Human Life Day.”

“Every person—the born and unborn, the poor, the downcast, the disabled, the infirm, and the elderly—has inherent value…On National Sanctity of Human Life Day, our Nation proudly and strongly reaffirms our commitment to protect the precious gift of life at every stage, from conception to natural death,” the White House shared in a press release.

Abortion rates have decreased greatly over the years. According to the press release, teen pregnancies and abortions amongst adolescents have dropped significantly. But the President wants to do more.

“Still, there is more to be done, and as President, I will continue to fight to protect the lives of the unborn.”

The president has a strong track record of blocking abortion rights, as previously reported by Christian Headlines. Late last year, Trump announced that millions of Title X public funding would be diverted away from Planned Parenthood because of its allowance of abortions. The nonprofit could keep its funding if it stopped referring for abortions, but they refused.

The Trump administration has also set out an agenda to “dispel the concept of abortion as a fundamental human right.” Twenty-four nations have agreed with the campaign. “We oppose any projects that attempt to assert…

Pastor Stops Church Service to Have Woman, Child Escorted Out after Baby Makes Noise

Pastor Stops Church Service to Have Woman, Child Escorted Out after Baby Makes Noise

A pastor in Tennessee is facing criticism after he asked a mother and child to leave the service because the baby was making noise.

According to Ponder Anew, Dan Smith, the pastor of United Church in Gallatin, Tenn. Stopped his sermon after the 15-month-old made noise.

“Hey ushers, can you please show them where the nursery is?” he said. “I don’t want to struggle with a child the whole time, so please help me out.”

Smith tried to continue his sermon, but could not.

“Okay, let me stop. Just because I just did that, everybody’s freakin’ out because I just said that, listen. We love children. And you … sweetie, look at me … we love kids, but if a child is gonna affect the whole service because the child’s cranky or whatever, we do have TVs that are right there in the back, so that’s cool,” he said.

The pastor insisted that he didn’t want to “affect the other people in the room” because the baby was crying.

“Listen, I love children. But see, everyone’s focus is right there right now. And sweetheart, as long as she’s fine you stand there and do your thing. But I need you to understand, somebody else got up and walked out. That’s OK. I’m not gonna affect 300 people because of a crying child. That’s why we have TVs in the outside, that’s why we have a nursery. If you get offended over that, I’m sorry, I really am sorry, but we’re…

The Denison Forum Book Club recommends ‘Choose Zoe: A Story of UnPlanned Parenthood and the Case for Life’

The title of Choose Zoe: A Story of UnPlanned Parenthood and the Case for Life by Laura Lynn Hughes is a bit misleading.

Instead of the name of an unborn child, zoe is a Greek word for life, but not just any kind of life. Zoe signifies the divine, abundant, eternal life that is available through a relationship with Jesus Christ.

Hughes, raped by older boys at ten and pregnant by her boyfriend at fifteen, opted to keep her child rather than abort it.

Now the mother of five and grandmother of eight, she bears witness to God’s ability to redeem the most tragic of circumstances and abundantly bless his children.

The book is full of stories of flawed people, including members of her extended family, who have embraced joy in the most difficult of circumstances.

“I am inspired that so many have chosen to do more than just survive,” Hughes writes. “They have chosen zoe. We aren’t defined by our past. . . . The stains of sin and shame, trauma and poor choices, they are not permanent.”

Her book makes a powerful case for life, and not just for the unborn child, but for the joyful, abundant life available to Christians in our fallen world.

Viral Prophecy Claims Revival Will Come if Kansas City Chiefs Win Super Bowl

Viral Prophecy Claims Revival Will Come if Kansas City Chiefs Win Super Bowl

If the Kansas City Chiefs win the Super Bowl, revival is coming, according to a prophecy going viral on Facebook. Before passing away in 2014, prophetic minister Bob Jones reportedly told Shawn Bolz, another prophetic minister, that God had told him this in a vision.

“Bob Jones told me at least 10 times, ‘When the Chiefs win the Super bowl, you will know that revival is about to come. God is raising up his apostolic chiefs,’” Bolz wrote in a Facebook post over the weekend.

The prophecy became relevant as the Kansas City Chiefs have their first chance in 50 years to win the Super Bowl. Bolz encouraged his followers: “This could be the time! Let’s pray!”

According to ., Jones was a prophetic minister for more than forty years. As early as the age of seven he claimed to have a vision of the archangel Gabriel appearing to him and blowing a double silver trumpet in his face.

According to his biography, Bob saw Gabriel throw an old bull skin mantle at his feet as a young boy filling him with fear, causing him to run away. Many years later, however, “he returned to pick up that old mantle which is that of a Seer Prophet,” . reports.

In his capacity as a Prophetic minister, Jones also attempted to foretell earthquakes, tidal waves, comets, and weather patterns, though not all of his predictions were accurate.

Bolz is not the only one with…

One of the year’s top faith-based films has been named the top romantic movie of the year by a mainstream publication, Seventeen Magazine.

The publication recently listed its “7 Most Romantic Movies Premiering in 2020” and placed I Still Believe — a faith-based movie directed by Christian filmmakers Jon and Andrew Erwin — at No. 1.

“If you’re a sucker for love, then get ready because 2020 is going to be your year,” the magazine’s Jasmine Gomez wrote. “… Browse through this list to figure out what days you have a date with the movie theatre.”

I Still Believe, which releases in theaters March 13, was No. 1 on Seventeen’s list. It was made by the same directors who made I Can Only Imagine, Woodlawn and Mom’s Night Out.

Boko Haram Executes Brethren Pastor in Northeast Nigeria

Boko Haram Executes Brethren Pastor in Northeast Nigeria

JOS, Nigeria, January 21, 2020 (Morning Star News) – The Rev. Lawan Andimi had a treasured life, a loving family, an affectionate congregation, respect from his colleagues.

The kidnapped district chairman of the Church of the Brethren in Nigeria (EYN) in Michika County, in northeast Nigeria’s Adamawa state, had stated in a video that he trusted in God should he lose his life to Islamic terrorists of Boko Haram. The rebel militants executed the father of eight children on Monday (Jan. 20), the head of the Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN) confirmed today.

Ahmad Salkida, a Muslim journalist who has been a primary means for Boko Haram to release information, reported in a tweet today that the group beheaded Pastor Andimi on Monday afternoon.

“To break some news items can traumatize. I’m battling with one of such. Reverend Andimi, abducted by #BokoHaram was executed yesterday,” Salkida tweeted. “Rev. Andimi was a church leader, a father to his children and the community he served. My condolences go to his family.”

CAN President Samson Ayokunle today confirmed in a comment to the Nigerian newspaper the Daily Post that Pastor Andimi had been executed.

Pastor Andimi had said in a Boko Haram video released by Salkida on Jan. 5 that he hoped to be reunited with his wife, children and colleagues.

“If the opportunity has not been granted, maybe it is the will of God,” he said. “I want all…

Drag Queen Warns Parents Not to Involve Their Children in ‘Filthy’ Drag Scene

Drag Queen Warns Parents Not to Involve Their Children in ‘Filthy’ Drag Scene

A popular drag queen known as “Kitty Demure” has issued a stark warning to parents who are seeking to involve their children in the crossdressing scene.

Increasingly, liberal parents have attempted to normalize the trans practice by taking their own children to drag clubs. Highlighting what really goes on at these establishments, Demure insists that this is never a good idea.

“What in the h*** has a drag queen ever done to make you have so much respect for them, and admire them so much, other than put on makeup and jump on the floor and writhe around and do sexual things on stage?” Demure asked in the video, which has been viewed over 300,000 times.

“I have absolutely no idea why you would want that to influence your child. Would you want a stripper or a pornstar to influence your child?”

Kitty went on to warn that drag performances are only suitable for the eyes of legal age adults. “There is a lot of filth that goes on, a lot of sexual stuff that goes on, and backstage there’s a lot of nudity, sex, and drugs,” he added. “To actually get them involved in drag is extremely, extremely irresponsible.”

Addressing parents personally, Demure insisted that looking “woke” was not worth putting children at risk.

“I understand that you might want to look like you’re with it, that you’re cool and woke … but you can raise your child to be just a normal everyday child…

Suya For Lunch

So I was not feeling so hungry today, I just wanted something a little spicy and savory. I also wanted something sweet and crispy/crunchy.

I am home alone today and after rummaging through the fridge for a while, I came across some beef suya made by my brother-in-law (uncle Sam). He makes the best suya in the whole of London, I tell you. So quick I got it out and made a quick salad with it, and after having a hot beverage with it, I reached my point of satisfaction..! So that’s it. Lunch done. Looking forward to dinner… 😄

What you need

  • Iceberg lettuce
  • Tomatoes
  • Onions
  • Suya spice/yaji
  • Pre-bought suya (or you can substitute beef suya with grilled chicken or fish or vegetables of choice such as aubergine, courgettes)

What to do

  1. Heat up the suya if required.
  2. Then chop up your lettuce, tomatoes, and onions.
  3. Arrange all components on a plate and serve; preferably warm.

Abortion is the leading cause of death in the US: The persuasive logic and compelling story of life

Today is the forty-seventh anniversary of Roe v. Wade, the 1973 Supreme Court ruling legalizing abortion. Since that 7–2 decision, the lives of nearly sixty-two million babies have been aborted in America.

There were 862,000 abortions in the United States in 2017. This is the lowest number since abortion became legal in 1973. However, abortion remains the leading cause of death in our country: that same year, 647,457 Americans died from heart disease, the second-leading cause of death.

Worldwide, abortion is the leading cause of death as well, killing forty-two million people last year. By contrast, 8.2 million people died from cancer in 2019, thirteen million from other diseases, and 1.7 million from HIV/AIDS.

What if a virus killed 18 percent of unborn babies?

A man in Washington state has been diagnosed with the new Wuhan coronavirus, the first case reported in the US from an outbreak that has sickened hundreds of people in Asia.

Imagine that such a virus was attacking babies in the womb and killing 18 percent of them. Medical science would be doing everything possible to protect unborn children from this dire threat.

By contrast, pro-abortion forces in America are conspiring to do everything they can to protect the threat.

For example, Planned Parenthood in New York is pressuring doctors to violate their conscience by performing abortions or leave medicine. The Center for Reproductive Rights (CRR) is working to fight abortion restrictions and to help states enact legislation protecting the practice.

But the legal future of abortion may be more unsettled than ever. In March, the Supreme Court will hear its first abortion case since Justice Brett Kavanaugh replaced Anthony Kennedy, with a decision expected by summer. On January 2, more than two hundred Republican members of the House and Senate filed a brief urging the Court to overturn Roe once and for all.

According to the CRR, if the Court did…
